Emma and Elliot’s wedding was a truly special day, and I feel honoured to have been a part of it as their wedding photographer last Sunday. From the moment I met the couple, I could see how much they loved each other, and it was evident in every moment of their big day.
One of the things that struck me most about Emma and Elliot’s wedding was how relaxed they were. They were both incredibly calm and composed, which created a laid-back and intimate atmosphere that allowed their love to shine through.
It was clear that Emma and Elliot have a deep connection with their family and friends. I had previously photographed Elliot’s brother Darcy’s wedding, and it was wonderful to see the same familiar faces again. Being able to capture the special moments of a family that I have worked with before always feels like photographing a friend’s wedding.
The ceremony took place at the stunning Merrimu Reservoir, which provided an incredible backdrop for the wedding. The serene lake and majestic mountains in the background created a beautiful and romantic setting for the couple’s exchange of vows. It was the perfect location for a couple as lovely as Emma and Elliot.
The reception was a celebration of their love, and it was a joy to be able to capture the special moments of the evening. From the touching speeches to the lively dancing, it was a night to remember.
