Fitzroy Gardens
A great spot for lush gardens photos and is very central location, with Victorian Marriage Registry and Parliament Steps nearby. This is one of my favourite locations and one that I always recommend to my couples. Easy parking and the images always come out nice here.
Hosier Lane
Renowned for being Melbourne’s most celebrated art laneway, Hosier Land is the perfect place to visit to capture your most cherished wedding photos. For those wanting classic wedding photography, Hosier Lane isn’t for you. However, if you desire contemporary photos that capture the true essence of what makes Melbourne great, then Hosier Lane is a perfect choice for you.
Parliament Steps
Parliament Steps are popular among couples seeking timeless and classic wedding photos to cherish for a lifetime If you are keen to shoot at two locations, Parliament Steps is the perfect compliment to a garden shoot.
Brighton Beach
The Iconic Brighton bathing boxing are always the favourite for couples. Something to note is that in summer on hot days, be prepared to be photographed with a lot of people around. You are not going to get the beach to yourself unless its a colder day.
Victoria Army Barracks
Victoria Barracks is a historical building located on St.Kilda Road in Melbourne. The building is very beautiful from outside and been one of my favourite locations for a wedding location photoshoot.
Albert Park Lake
Albert Park Lake and its surrounding gardens is simply a gorgeous place for your wedding photography. This is a place where perfectly mixed with the natural and modern feel. The swans, the tropical trees, the boat on the lake, the skylines, these all above are the perfect view for your wedding photography.
Carlton Gardens
Located near Royal Exhibition Building and Melbourne Museum. If you are looking at just doing one location- this could be a perfect choice with garden and architecture style images all possible in one location.
St.Kilda Beach
If you are in city and don’t want to travel much more than St.Kilda beach is the most common location in Melbourne. It is very close to Melbourne and has got beautiful surroundings. The only issue while doing photography here is it’s mostly crowded with locals and tourists.
Flinders Street Station
If Melbourne’s hustle and bustle isn’t your idea of fun, perhaps iconic Flinders Station is not the wedding photography location for you. Should you be interested , keep in mind it is hard to organise your wedding photos in a location that is widely used by Melbourne public. There is little chance you will capture the iconic building without at least few people in the background.
Melbourne University
Melbourne University is an in demand location that can be tough to get a booking for- so think ahead if it’s an option for you. Its a sandstone archways and architecture will create artistic lines and frameworks in your photos
