1.Eat
Couples are paying decent amount for these meals, but they are so caught up in the excitement of the day that they don’t take time to sit down and eat
2.Spend time with your partner
Unless the couple works with their photographer for a first look pre-ceremony, the couple will not have any time alone the entire day. Couples should be sure to talk to each other during the reception, not just the guests. I also recommend the couple to find 10 minutes in between the location photo shoot and the reception, to spend time alone and discuss their morning and day.
3.Brides buy their wedding dress before choosing the venue
Before booking your bridal shop appointments, make sure you know the type of wedding you’re planning and what type of reception. Yes, you can wear what ever you like however if you buy a low-key gown and you end up going all out on the reception, you may wish you went bigger and bolder with your dress.
4.Nice hanger for your dress
Whether you order a custom hanger or find nice wooden or vintage one in your closet, switch out the boring plastic hanger for better photos of your wedding dress.
5.Know when the sun will set
This is important for photos and planning your ceremony. Knowing the exact time will allow you to maximise your daylight hours before the reception. Sunset is golden hour for lighting in photography, and you should plan to adjust your ceremony time accordingly
6.Put together a wedding day emergency kit
This is a small makeup bag of “just in case” items that can fix most of those little wedding day problems. From double sided tape to deodorant, an emergency kit can be a real lifesaver on the big day.
7.Have an “unplugged” wedding
You are paying for a professional photographer, and the last thing you want is 50 mobiles making an appearance in your ceremony photos or your guests not been present in the moment.
